..::*First Post*::..

This is a test of my new broadcast system. I've been writing blog-style captions under my instagram posts for far too long and it's about time I gave myself an unlimited character amount to finally say what I mean. Social media has a way of stifling voices in a way that might seem subtle...but think about it. Are you still reading? Or do you feel antsy because you could have watched 3 TikToks by now? I totally get it.

Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and my personal favorite platform Instagram have conditioned all of us to consume as much "content" as quickly as humanly possible. Since you probably came here from my website than you are probably familiar with my ideas of trying to just slow all of this madness down. I picked the 90s as my aesthetic across the board because, as a millennial, I do remember when the internet was much more: laid back. And as a creative, I feel extremely burnt out by the pace that we are expected to pump out content in order to stay relevant and garner support from our community and let's face it; as a disabled micro-business owner, have any chance at making money. So I wanted to create a refuge from all the noise of the social sites and chill things out a bit. Hopefully you feel the same, or at least some of this resonates with you. This blog will serve two functions: to be a sounding board for my general thoughts and ideas, and to be a spot for my DIY tutorials and descriptions of my creative process. If you know me or have been following along with me for any length of time, you probably have it figured that I've got a LOT to say. Whether it's about advocacy, music, films + TV, art, the human condition, astrophysics, fashion fashion and more fashion...You'll rarely find me at a loss for words. Even when I say something asinine like "OMG: speechless", brace yourself because I'm probably going to go on an absolute tirade ;P And I am so glad to have this space to do so. Thank you for joining me here.

I hope to start a lil revolution of sorts. Getting folks out of the IG rat-race and getting back to the idea that you CAN take your sweet time putting together beautiful things for people to enjoy at their leisure. Let's stick it to the man. Having said that, I will still be involved with my social media pages but mostly to direct folks to my website and this blog <3
