Hello and welcome to Dollierocker! I’m Dollie and I’ve had this little business/persona for almost 2 decades now. I started my creative journey as an artsy kid from Delaware; dancing, acting, playing instruments, taking fine art classes every summer, getting into musical theater. I then transformed into “Dollierocker” as a teen when I became a certified Beatlemaniac. The music moved me so deeply that I knew I would have my own site and shop one day, making vintage-inspired things and upcycling all sorts of creations. The kid from Delaware became a jet-setting socialite and groupie with my girl squad The Beatle Bandaids. Seeing live shows with my best friends and living our rock and roll fantasy became the driving force behind my brand.  I love nostalgia, maximalism, and everything whimsical (as you can see!).
 
My favorite decades to hearken back to are the 60s and the 90s but I’m inspired by all sorts of aesthetics before, after, and everywhere in-between. I’ve even designed this website to look like something out of the 1990s! I love anything that takes me on a journey back in time and this site gives me fond memories. My inner child would have wanted this as her dream website. I hope you join me in taking a break of the social media doldrums and go back to an era when creators could take their time making beautiful things to share.  I can't wait to find more web designers who share the same passion for making spots on the internet into destinations, not just ragebait farms for doomscrolling and barfing out your every thought with character limits and no font choices!! GASP! On this page you’ll get to know about me, catch a glimpse of my world, and most importantly; see what I’m up to creatively :) I'm so thrilled to bring it to you all on my own website where we don't follow the conventional rules of clean, clinical-looking "content" and influencer-friendly algorithms. JUST  VIBES!!
