WhY "DoLliEroCKeR?

a long long time ago I came upon this website by someone who's moniker i had seen here, there and everywhere around the beatle's fandom and it was all about Pattie Boyd. Aside from being all swoony over George Harrison, I quickly became infatuated with his wife Pattie Boyd and this site seemed to give her the nickname of Dolly Rocker as she had modeled the dresses of that label. I would come to find out many years later that that website was built by a friend of mine, and one of the original Beatle Bandaids. An absolutely wild coincidence, but a true story! Anyway...Thank you, Miss Senti Starr! <3 <3

I built this website to get away from the fast pace of all the social media outlets and go back to a time when having a website of your very own made you feel like a rockstar; especially one you created yourself. It's taken many many months of research and re-learning html but I feel like I finally came up with a place I like. I wanted this space to feel like stepping back in time with the design of the home page and main menu harkening back to 90s maximalism and an abundance of gifs and rainbows, with clouds and starry backgrounds of course. The blog and some other subpages are a bit more streamlined with the BBA page looking just like a myspace page and the rest using the fonts and layout inspired by dELiA*s catalogues from the edge of y2k!
